MG HS in Bideford Devon

Conquer your family adventures with the MG HS, a family-size SUV that combines technology and space beautifully. The 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine packs a punch – 162PS and 250Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque with the option of a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) for seamless performance. It returns up to 37.9mpg combined, and it comes as standard with MG Pilot, featuring 6 driving aids including Blind Spot Detection. DCT models also have a Super Sport drive mode for fun on fast roads. 
Trim grades include Excite and Exclusive. Excite kicks off the range with MG Pilot, a 10.1” touchscreen, a fully digital driver’s display, keyless entry and start and leather style upholstery. Exclusive trim adds leather upholstery, heated front seats and an electric driver’s seat. DCT models also have Traffic Jam Assist, which can semi-automate your motorway journeys.

Design

Big and bold, the MG HS doesn’t do things by halves. All versions ride on 18” alloys, with bi-function LED headlights and front and rear LED sequential indicators in Exclusive grade. The interior has a 10.1” touchscreen and a digital cockpit.

Drive

With start and stop technology, 162PS and 250Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque and an optional DCT gearbox, the MG HS has a fantastic powertrain. It’s smooth to drive and comes as standard with an electric parking brake with auto-hold.

Practicality

The MG HS’s 463-litre boot is enormous, with a false boot floor and 60-40 split-folding rear seats. Both rear outermost seats have ISOFIX. As standard, the MG HS has keyless entry and DCT models also have a powered tailgate.

Living with it

With handy features like navigation, heated seats, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a rear parking camera, the MG HS is a pleasure to live with. It’s cheap to run too, returning up to 37.9mpg combined (36.6mpg with the DCT).
